Fishing through Lake Winnibigoshish's ice can get repetitive. That's only a problem for those who get bored landing perch after perch.

Great article. Dennis should have used his guy bonding time to ask Nebraskans about the environmental issues raised in Nebraska for over a year about proposed pipeline from Canada to Mexico. There is a way to do, with safeguards established early and locally. Lets do it right, not clean up another mess.

As a displaced Minnesotan now living in Houston, TX, the "sounds" of ice fishing are one of my fondest memories from back home -- whether that be the cracking of the ice, the sound of canvas whipping in the wind, the buzz of a distant snowmobile, or the incoherent babbling of an angler whose goal for the afternoon was apparently to sample one of each of the 21 Schmidt "scenes"......lol
