I may have missed it but was there a mention of the lawsuits regarding excessive executive compensation?

The only way Regis will ever rebound is if they clean house. Too many execs have been doing the same thing for way too long. What they need is new fresh, young, vibrant people. Until that happens, Regis will continue to suffer. Regis has so much potential, but they continue to make poor decisions.

goofy101: I agree with your comment except "young" should be omitted from your description of the type of people required to turn the thing around. First, you open the company up to age discrimination suits and, second, there are some very good "old" people out there.

I knew of Dave from my time there. He was extremely well-liked and respected by his employees. In fact, the managers and officers I know are very experienced, committed and capable people. Growth in this industry is simply hard to come by when unemployment remains so high. Good luck Dave.
