Chamber, Vikings lobbyists among Capitol’s big spenders

Disclosure reports show they were top spenders for lobbying at the Capitol in the last half of 2011.

That was money well spent? Every time I saw one of those ads it literally made me irate. Here is a group of people spending big money to rally support for a bigger handout... Are the people at Winter Park really this daft? How can a group of people think that a few ads airing during Vikings games are going to change people's mind and motivate them to support more corporate welfare for the rich?

How is it that Canterbury spending nearly twice as much as the tribes is not the lead in this story?

I remember the day when it was a big deal for a local business to be a member of the chamber of commerce. Then the chamber went political. Too bad.
