"The appeals court decision 'clears the way for Camelot as the owner of Block E to move forward with redevelopment plans.' That could include the state's first non-tribal casino." A non-tribal casino is not going to happen. Block E just welcomed yet another vacant building. The ownership group should have kept AMC in there.

May they demolish this awful building, rebuild Kieran's, move the Schubert back where it belongs (just kidding!), put a city park on the rest of the block, and never, never, never, ever speak of Block-E again. Ever.

It was a poor setup anyhow. Expensive and you had to take escalators upstairs for a movie. But it was pretty cheeky of the building owners to clear them out for a casino that needs legislative approval.

Great this means people who talk throughout the entire movie are headed to a theatre near me.

There will never be a casino anywhere in MPLS city limits.

Why would you put a casino downtown? Who wants to go down town for anything? There simply aren't enough people to support anything downtown. Why force a casino into the area?

Maybe it would help if they renamed the block to get rid of the bad Karma.

They will NEVER get approval for a casino. Nice work Camelot, we have a completely empty structure in the heart of downtown.

It'll probably turn into *another* housing high-rise in the end.
