Welcome Bobby Ryan to MN. It will probably be Setoguchi and Harding. to bad they did not pull the trade off with Gillies and Hards.... Dollar shot and late.

Just checked the standings. With a little luck (and many losses) the Wild could be drafting as high as 7th.

A trade for scoring? Why? This team is done, and I hope to everything holy that CF doesn't give up a prospect to patch this ragged team. One player will NOT help this team, besides, we werent supposed to be competing this year anyway. Be smart Chuck, I beg you.

I love the wild and I hope they make the playoffs but if we are going to make a deal it better be for the long run. Trade Harding and something for a Ryan or Parise. You can give up a prospect because they both are young and will be able to help in the long run but they have to be able to sign them. Good luck CF. I know you will do the correct thing.

Trading for Parise is stupid if you dont immediately lock him up to a long term deal. Otherwise you're just renting him for a few months, not wise.

Shades of last year again...Didn't Richards get fired after Koivu went down and the team tanked? Yeo better watch out.

Bobo, I am not a fan of Perry at all... reminds me of a Rat. (He can score though) Ryan is younger and would fit great with Grandlin and the rest of the young crew that will be with the wild in the next 1-3 years. Plus he has a great work ethic, which is missing with Perry. More of an all around player, who can find the twine. Just my thoughts though

Well said player will not help the Wild. They need a 5M dollar DMan and two Top 6 F's at the very least. Much better off getting what you can for Harding and Zannon and that's it. The real rebuilding begins in this summer.

Anyway to package Heatly with someone for Ryan? The guy is over the hill and as much time as he plays it hurts the team. Oh wait, I'd better say something good about him so someone wants him. Yeo recently said good things about him and I think that is the right thing to say as the Wild are spending a ton on him. Sorry but the guy is slow, gets pushed off the puck in the corners, and with all his ice time still can't put the puck in the net enough to make him worth while. I think the Wild can make a couple of big moves to make a playoff push but it better happen fast. The future is now.

Lets not forget heatley is doing immensely better than the guy they traded him straight up for (havlat). Also, boozer97, who the hell is grandlin? You don't clearly don't follow the wild or are uneducated and shouldn't be commenting. Did you mean Granlund? Who is actually a person? I like trading Harding as part of that but with koivu out the wild cant afford to get rid of setoguchi, and they need a center, not a winger.
