I violated all of my personal ethics and purchased NBA league pass so that I could watch the Wolves. One bonus is that occasionally there's another good game on, like the one I am watching now between the Clippers and the Lakers. Still, I wouldn't have purchased league pass if all the Wolves games were on local TV. It amounts to about $10 per game to watch the 16 games not televised locally. My contribution to millionaires and billionaires.

who really cares about basketball. I am more upset that some of the Wild games have now been moved to FSN plus and now I will not be able to see them since my cable package doesn't carry it.

All the local sports teams have decided that they need to extract as much revenue from every possible source, and that's more important than growing their fan base or making sure their fans have access to the broadcasts of games. The Twins, Wolves and Wild all seem to think their fans owe it to them to go out and buy premium cable packages to see their games. If they want their fans to be only those who can afford $50-$80 a month for cable TV, and corporate ticket buyers, this is a good strategy. If they want workaday citizens and kids growing up to be lifelong fans, this is a horrible, eat-the-seed-corn strategy. Seeing how these franchises have been making other decisions, I'll leave it to you to decide which kind of strategy this is.

In the world of sports there is always going to be a group of people who are not happy no matter what the situation....they could be the biggest die hards and if their team wins...they still are mad cuz they win the "right way"...people really need to pick their battles of what is worth complaining about...and appreciate what things they do have.

In all the things in the world to worry or complain about this is not one of them.

The "this is not something to complain about" people can shut it! I've suffered through watching every Wolves game the last 5+ years. I'm a die-hard fan that has supported the team through good and bad. Yes, I do go to a lot of games, but the last two that weren't televised were away games, so the person with the "if you like them so much go to the game" comment can also put a cork in it! All the games should be televised, now that we finally have a team (or at least a couple players) that many people on even a national basis want to watch!

I saw Cousy play alot. He killed the Lakers in Minneapolis and LA. Rubio reminds me of him. He was way ahead of his time ith behind the baxk passes and leading the fast break. Rubio looks like the real deal
