Dan and I played little league together. The Twins clubhouse could learn a few things from his work ethic and his willingness to play through pain.

Give this guy an invite to spring training. He deserves a shot with his hometown team. I don't know if it's a logical fit for the club with Morneau, Doumit, and Mauer ready to man 1st and DH, but at least he could be a good PH threat. Plus, who knows, if Morneau's symptoms keep persisting, having this depth won't hurt.

He should absolutely be brought to the Twins Spring training. They are in no position to be choosey about how, where or why a player fits in their roster......unless there is another team that needs him worse than the Twins...is that possible?? Hey, he doesn't have any concussions or bilateral leg weaknesses - give him a shot!

Worth a shot.....the Twins need anyone who can stay healthy and hit the ball......anything's better than what may be coming up in 2012......

Almost hate to admit this....but never heard of him....even with the big home run he hit, never paid to much attention to it.....good for him, at least he has one great memory in his career, and it helped out bigtime......

I get that he's one of us, but the guy just isn't a major league talent. That's not a crime, but I'm pretty sure that Parmelee would do better.

Johnson's story is similar to many professional athletes. Once the spotlight has dimmed, they need to figure out what ot do with their lives. I'm glad Dan has started flipping homes. He can become a small business owner, hire people to work with/for him, and continue doing something worthwhile for communities with all these foreclosures.Good luck Dan!

Sorry to be a nay-sayer, but he wouldn't be a good fit for the Twins. He plays hurt and comes through in the clutch. JK - bring him in for a look.
