Former San Jose Sharks forward Devin Setoguchi was a healthy scratch against his former team Tuesday night, but it wasn't because of poor play. According to multiple sources, Setoguchi missed a Tuesday morning meeting, triggering Wild coach Mike Yeo to bench him.

Kudos on Yeo for holding players accountable! But in the same vein, if players are benched for disciplinary reasons, they should also be given a pressbox seat for repeated poor performance, especially when it comes to the veterans on the team. Speaking in regards to Zidlicky. Used to be a huge fan of the guy. Last night, there were 2 instances when he tried to play physical, and ended up falling on his keester. His primary role is to provide offense from the blue line. Yet to see that happen. Save for a very few games, the guy has been abysmal. Make him a healthy scratch ... let him discover his game. Should be a good wake-up call. Simply counting as a veteran shouldn't mean a free pass.

I agree 100% with Yeo and what he did. The rules apply to everyone. Keep it up, I see good things in our future!

Falk looks over matched. May be time for him to sit.

I guess I am getting to old. If I were I member of the Wild organization I would be absolutely furious the Seto was out partying with the Sharks, (presumably) causing him to miss a game day meeting. I don't think 1 game is enough, I would suspend him for 3 games. Take some money from him. Be a professional.
