Jayvion Jones fought off man who set apartment on fire.
It is nice to hear of neighbors and strangers stepping up to help others, or not be afraid to do the right thing until a cop gets there. Kudos to the men, women and kid who made a difference!
It's so sad this little boy had to live through this horrible incident in his young life. He showed at his early age, a young man with character.
That man should be locked up for good, not just 14 years for what he tried to do.
This is a wonderful story of love and heroism. I am so proud of the boy and the neighbor who helped.
Props to the kid, doing what he did to restore order and save his mom sure was heroic. But what about the guy from down the block? He was sitting around minding his own business when a neighborhood kid shows up and says a psycho ex-boyfriend's trying to kill his mom. What does dude do? He runs over, kicks in the door, and gets into a fistfight with the perp in a burning house...all to save a neighbor in trouble. Saving your mom? To be expected. Helping a neighbor under such circumstances? Make no mistake, Montel Mixon was a serious grade-A hero that day.
Way to go Jayvion!
Way to go Little Man!!
My question is why was a Molotov cocktail thrown into this particular apartment?
None of my friends even know how to make a Molotov cocktail.
Congrats to the young man who did act bravely!
Let's take a look at the mom's friends and acqaintences.
Recognition should go to Michael, too. He was very brave in helping his brother and his mother. They both will grow into fine young men. Ebony can understandably be very proud of both of her sons.
Congrats to kids. It's a great story. I agree with the previous post that the perp needs to go away for a very long time.
