The Wild have just fallen into their predictable pattern of the past few seasons, nothing more and nothing less. Play well above their heads for the first few games and then play hard and well enough to just miss the playoffs. That appears to be a well established tradition for the local pucksters.

5-1 Sharks ..... Burns will be amped up and score at least 1 plus assists. Wild will be thoroughly out-classed in this one. This will change in a few years when the prospects start showing up in the NHL.
