Good for Richards...he shouldn't have been fired from the Wild after only two years to begin with.

Now Columbus fans can experience the deer in the headlights that Todd does so famously when something happens on the ice.... He is definately not head coach material... He will fail there too...

Good luck Todd! The Wild aren't any better this year than last... I don't think that Vince Lombardi could get these guys to put in an honest 60 minute effort....

I guess Richards is supposed to be a nice guy, but I agree with Tackfan. Not head coaching material

At least this time Todd Richards will be coaching a team with a normal nickname, uniform, logo, and mascot. Other that being an adjective, what is a Wild?

Anyone want to chip in with me to buy a condolence card to send to Columbus? At least the Jackets players can look forward to the patented Richards second period nap that Wild fans could predict with regularity. The excuse for his failure here was that he just didn't have any talented players. Let's see how long that excuse works in Columbus, with Nash, Umberger and Commodore in the lineup. That's probably more talent than Richards had here in his tenure, when he had such talents as Mietinnen on the top line!
