So Frazier gets rid of probably the best coach on the team. The defensive line was the only reason worth watching the defense this year. More moves like this will just turn the fans against him like they did with Childress. Are you trying to make us not like you Leslie?

wayneduke555... Yes, the DL was the best unit on the team, but only because Allen and Williams have been Pro-Bowl caliber players since well before Dunbar got here. My guess is that the primary reason Dunbar was let go is he refused to play the younger guys like Griffen and Ballard even though Robison was, at best, mediocre, Ayodele was a bust, and Guion and Evans are just guys.

Robison showed he was a better DE than Edwards was. His production tailed off at the end of the year but the first half of the season he made sacks. It will be interesting to see what he does next year. As for Dunbar playing younger guys, the D-Coordinator has more to do with that than the DLine coach. THe ONLY reason Dunbar was let go was highly-likely to the desire to hire a new DC.

I started to get excited that the Vikes were entertaining bringing in a new defense. Tampa Two is awful. It hasn't worked since it has been here yet they bring in a guy who's team lost 10 in a row and couldn't stop anyone for an interview? I hope they don't hire Morris. You end up with a bunch of loser d coaches. Singletary, Frazier and Morris? YUCK! I love how Pittsburgh and Baltimore play defense. Aggressive... not keep everything in front of you. Rodgers will pick that apart for the next decade.

This was a disappointing move to say the least. The D-line was definitely the best part of the Vikings D. Gadfly its definitely the Defensive Coordinator calling the play packages so that goes against him not Dunbar. This is just yet another head scratching move if you ask me. Maybe the Vikings can get all of the old Bears to coach the team, including Ditka??? Spielman its time for you to give the final say on all coaches too.

I can't wait to see the comments this time next year. No one really has any idea of what is going to happen.

gadfly... Really? All four of Allen's pro bowls and five of six of Williams' pro bowls came under Dunbar. Robison is mediocre? The reason Allen had his best season is because the Vikings finally had another DE other teams had to worry about.

"Are you trying to make us not like you Leslie?" He's already there.

Classless move, but somewhat expected by an organization owned by the Wilfs. Remember when those two imbeciles fired Tice immediately following a victory over the Bears by passing a memo around to members of the media? Common decency obviously isn't an inherent trait of these Jersey jackwagons who have money to donate to the campaigns of both Jon Corzine and Anthony Weiner but don't have money enough to build their own stadium!

Best coach on the team. Good job idiots.
