I'm pretty sure that Jared Allen plays defensive end, but whatevs, I guess accuracy/correctness in journalism has fallen by the wayside long ago. Syndicating an incorrect story over the AP just amplifies the mistake, though. You'd think there would be additional scrutiny.

Most amazing is he got those sacks playing for a team that was behind most of the year, and the other teams were playing a lot of ball control designed specifically to use up clock and maintain possession. It would be much less impressive if the other team were actually forced to pass because the Queen's were ahead. Bill G.

One vote from being a unanimous choice. I wonder why Sid didn't vote for him?

Rodgers played against the leagues bottom pass defenses. Why did he do well this year? Ask Brady why the Patriots do well when they miss the playoffs the year before? The cheeseheads were wildcards in last yrs playoffs meaning, they did not have to play the division winners in 2011. The Packers will have to play division winners next year...guess how record setting Rodgers will be in 2012? He is the most overated cheesehead on their team.

Didn't the Packers play (and beat) the New Orleans Saints the first game of the year? Weren't the Saints the winners of the previous year's Super Bowl? Must suck to be so bitter - kind of fun to read the things that spew out of some people's posts. Your post is comic relief - thanks!!

Allen should be the NFL sack leader. Favre playing for GB laid down so Strahan could get the extra sack. (Favre and Strahan are and were buddies back in 2001). Allen at least earned his sack totals. Allen will always be the sack leader in my mind at least until someone comes along and legitimately earns more sacks.
