There's no need for a deadline or even discussion. The Vikings have a perfectly good stadium, perhaps you've heard of it in Downtown Minneapolis with a brand new roof and playing surface. It's paid for and right on the light-rail line. There's no need for any further discussion unless the Vikings are paying the bill. No public money for any new stadiums.

The citizens say no! The Vikes have been offered the Dome for $1. Millions of state dollars for $1. Take it or leave it. Preferably leave.

"I think the facts will speak for themselves," Dayton said of what will be the final, competing proposals. "One of them will show ultimately to be a better option." HINT: choose the one that requires zero taxpayer funding. That is the only correct choice.

When we solve the problem of real families homelessness then we can worry about the Viking homelessness. The same money invested in low interest small business loans would create significantly more jobs.

"...Tony Bennett expressed frustration Thursday, wondering whether the latest timetable was "the last hoop" in his efforts to bring a $1.1 billion stadium to suburban Arden Hills" Tony Bennett does not yet realize that the only hoop Wilf and the State of Minnesota gave to him was a HULA HOOP.

I wonder why the State of Minnesota doesn't fund other businesses that want to open here that will open up far more jobs than the Vikings will open. Since when do the citizens of this State provide tax payer money for a for profit business. Put it to the vote and live by the results. They're afraid to because they know what the result is. There are thousands of people who desperately need a job to provide housing, food and health care for their families. Lets take care of the priorities of the people rather than subsidize the greed of the Vikings. Let them build their own stadium. Maybe if they cut back a few million per player they will have more than enough. Gimmie gimmie gimmie. How selfish and self serving the Vikings threats are to leave. I'll drive you out to the airport if you'd like. I can't afford you.
