True, true! Minnesota's got to get 20 wins any way it can. 8 or 10 wins in a tough schedule just won't cut it.

Say what you want about Pat Reusse, but I absolutely LOVE how he gets the numbers and stats (well, except using wiki is a cheap way...shoulda just clicked the reference at the bottom of the screen for the true source...I digress). And the line about Tubby breaking out in hives was classic. If/when Reusse retires, I'd probably cancel my print and electronic subscription.

What a waste of ink / bandwidth. A bunch of meaningless numbers, and a cut and paste job from wikipedia. How about doing some real reporting and finding out WHY the Gophers stink. It's easy to say Tubby's a bad coach. But Tubby was a good coach for 20 years, then he came here and is a bad coach. Dan Monson was a good coach at Gonzaga, and came here and was a bad coach, and now is a good coach again at Long Beach. Maybe it isn't just the coach. Maybe there is something going on at the U that prevents these coaches from doing what they want, or recruiting who they want. Maybe if you got out of your chair and did a little reporting, rather than web browsing, you could tell us what the real problem is.
