Bloomington show dog has a case of flees

Delsin, who has a date at the Westminster dog show, spent nearly 24 hours on the lam before being reunited with his frantic, joyful owner.

I sure hope they find the dog however, wouldn't you think if a dog was that valued it should have been on a leash even in a fenced in back yard, just in case? I know I would leash him up! good luck!

I hope this dog is found safe. How irresponsible to not have a collar/tags and microchip on any pet, let alone a show dog. Please spay, neuter, and adopt/rescue... there are so many dogs out there that need loving, responsible homes.

Cannot be a show dog and nutered, but the chip should a must have. I hope you find him.

If all dogs are spayed, we lose the species. Best in show dogs aren't going to be neutered.

I doubt that we're in danger of having all dogs neutered and losing a species.

It is my understanding that some of these show dogs can be worth a pretty penny, which I would guess might extend to their breeding fees. I wonder if that is the underlying reason the owner(s) of these dogs generally do not get them spayed (females) or neutered (males). I don't mean to start a fuss, just wondering is all.
