Any doubt as to whom the Vikings should draft was answered tonight in Justin Blackmon with 8 catches 191 yards and 3 TDs. Please draft the best player available and not reach for need with the 3rd pick overall. Blackmon would definitely allow Harvin to work the slot as Blackmon will require defenses to play with a safety over the top. Vikes can pick up a good offensive lineman in the 2nd round.

Zygi just said in Sid's column that he's willing to do whatever it takes to win. Well, he can start by hiring Bill Pollian as the Vikes new GM.

There are so many holes to fill. You have to look at the big picture. 1) Why did we lose so many close games? 2) What decisions did we make in close games? 3) What position on this team needs the most improvement and is a player available to fill that need or is one a lot better at another need? (we have so many). There will be plenty of top players available to us when we pick so please pick him and not trade up for more players that are not going to be impact players. We have enough of those already. This is a passing league, so you have to protect the QB. If a premium left tackle is available you take him. If not you take the best wide receiver. You don't take a running back or a linebacker for this team at all in the draft. From there you take the best offensive lineman available and then possibly a defensive back. After that take the best player available in the draft.

And how long a leash for Frazier? He needs to learn how to win games. He was out coached several times this year, including the first four when you could argue we weren't so talent depleted. He and his staff spent a bye week preparing and examining everything for the upcoming game at Green Bay and were absolutely blown out of the water. This past week we faced an injury depleted Bear team at home. This was a game we could have won, but didn't. I don't know, dating back to last year, I haven't seen a thing from him to indicate he can win NFL games.

Most all of this years losses can be attributed to lousy coaching, poor decsion making and lack of adjustments to what other teams were doing. There were several games we had double digit leads yet got beat. Good grief anybody could see that we did not adjust and other teams did. Most of those teams that failed miserably like the Vikings did are in the process of replacing their coaches. We all know thats where you start when you are failing because you can't get rid of all your players.

A miserable year? True, but what the heck? The pay was the same win or lose. Oh well. Now where did I put the keys to my BMW?

"There's always next year" seems like the Vikings new team slogan.

Anybody watching the Giants-Cowboys game might have noticed the Cowboys coaching staff made massive adjustments at half time that turned the game in their favor until the Giants coachs reacted to these adjustments. Well coached on both teams. I never had this feeling about the Vikings this year, they would sometimes come in with a good gameplan but never seemed to react to what the other team was doing. How many passes did other teams complete to tight ends and running backs in front of the d-backs and behind linebackers?

Longwell said it best, don't think it was close because it wasn't. It cracks me up when I hear the arguments that so amny losses were under XX pts. Hate to tell you boys and girls, but a loss is a loss whether it is by 1 point or 20 points. We need a new GM, Coach(s), and a complete rebuild. We need draft choices to fill this vacuumn, trade Allen and Harvin now for draft picks. Unfortunately our opportunity to trade Peterson is dead. If any of the Henderson's get re-signed I give up on the present ownership! Any free agents need to be shown the door that cannot be opened from the opposite side! GOOD RIDDENCE! Let's see if we can get Cohwer or Chuckie as a coach. The mantra for the Vikings in 2012 is "help, I've fallen and I won't get up"!
