Heck of a win! Given that we were also short Riche and Noga who weren't dressed out for this game for some reason, the team played exceptionally. If we can keep this level of shooting going, we may have a chance to make some noise in the Big 10, or at least make Williams Arena a feared place for opponents.

nice win!! I'm a bit under the weather so didn't make it to the game. Hopefully the momentum will continue though! By the way with the new Strib subscriber policy...those of you that know I usually comment on these articles may not see me as much. boo :)

Beating Indiana at basketball anytime is a good thing!

Noga had a sprained ankle and Riche was hurt as well.

This really was a nice win. Indiana is not good this year (I'll be surprised if they win more than eight games), but they are still a Big Ten team and the Gophers absolutely dominated them from start to finish. Northwestern on the road Thursday will be significantly more difficult, but they nearly stole one at Mackey Arena last Friday (where they rarely win, even during the Whalen/Shaq era). If the Gophers can play like this at home and competitively on the road, they may be able to finish as high as sixth in the league this year (I don't think they have enough to crack the top five, but I hope I'm wrong).
