Ponder has another tough day at the office

The quarterback had to leave the game because of injury for the second time in four weeks, and might have to compete for No. 1 job.

Jordy Nelson is a free agent and would look really good in Purple and Gold!

For as much as I want to see Ponder succeed in the NFL and become the next great QB until he finds a way to avoid getting knocked out of games he will never amount to anything. The line takes a lot of blame, but the receiving core needs to get open & better separation & Ponder needs to make reads & deliver the ball or take off faster if nothing is there. He knows that he does not have time behind the banged up Viking's line, yet the coaches do not help out with screens to RB & WR, 3 step drops, waggles, etc...If Frazier & Musgrave knew what they were doing, their play calling on O would help out ponder not put his life at risk behind a shaky line.

Those that think that Ponder and webb are on a level playing field for the starting job, think again. Webb now has 2 full seasons in, Ponder, one. Frazier is in way over his head and has to be replaced.

Jordy Nelson, of course, is not a free agent but you are on the right track. The Packers 2nd stringers would be an upgrade starting with Matt Flynn.

I'm not going to spend my off season clamoring for Green Bays players, I'm a Vikings fan. Ponder will do a lot better in 2012. All of this losing now will help the franchise appreciate the winning later

Both QBs need alot of work and help. I think the Vikes were just putting up a tribute to the late Harmon Killebrew with their 3 win season and 3rd pick in the draft. Maybe they can pick another QB so they have 3 to choose from next year? It won't matter much unless they upgrade the line. WR can be had via free agency if they want to afford it

CRISSY BLUNDER cannot be the cat behind purple center. Strictly clipboard holding material.

This guy has proved he can't play at this level. Time for him to go and please take Leslie and crew with you.

Draft a QB!!!

VirginiaVikeJan. 2, 12 9:32 AM

Coaching need: New DC, Steve Spagnuolo, albeit doubtful. I know, he hasn't been fired yet, but he will be sometime this week. Dream free agency: Vincent Jackson, WR, Cortland Finnegan, CB, just for starters. Dream draft first three rounds: Round One, Matt Kalil, Round two: Stephon Gilmore, CB, Round three: Kevin Zeitler, G. Ponder will have a full off season, etc. We will know a lot more at the end of next season. Don't give up on this kid so fast.
