WOW ... what archaic comments by these Iowan voters. Wake up it is 2012 not 1800. If anyone thinks Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, Paul or Santorum are qualified to be POTUS they need their head examined. If you must be brainwashed into voting for a con please do so for Huntsman (most qualified) or Romney (the flip flopper).

I would die of embarrassment if my pic ended up in the paper or on TV attending one of her rallies!

They are right. Thi country or Iowa will never elect a female to the lands highest office. Bills wife lost to a an empty suit who still can't tell the truth.

Her absurd attempt to compare herself to any women political leader ever, is one of the most laughable of her many laughable statements and mis-statements she has made since her ridiculous attempt at the Presidency.

Bachmann just gave a political speech from the pulpit of the Jubilee Family Church in Oskaloosa Iowa. She is the most amoral politician you will ever encounter. She is a blatant liar and has no respect for the Constitution. Why has the Star Tribune ignored reporting Bachmann's flagrant violations of separation of church and state? Apparently the Star Tribune has caved in to bogus rightwinger complaints and now covers up illegal and unethical behavior.

"That's what I intend to be. I am an Iowa woman" -- Clearly, since you haven't been representing Minnesota.

"[T]he Minnesota Republican has worked former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher into her latest Iowa stump speech, making the comparison to play up her resiliency..."

In her mind only.

"Iron Lady?" Most likely meaning is, you need the proverbial cast iron stomach to swallow and keep down the swill she's been troweling out these many months.

Michelle and Margaret Thatcher have as much in common as Herman Cain and the Pope

I don't dislike Bachmann, but she is no Margaret Thatcher. The world may not have another leader as great as Mrs. Thatcher for many, many years.
