Their lease is up, but the team will probably play for a 31st year under the Teflon sky next season.

Just build it and they will come? Or just build it for they are dumb?

Why are the Vikings reminding us? We're not responsible for ensuring they have a place to play next year...

" fellow fan John Schreiner said, adding his argument for a subsidy: "Roads, schools, government buildings and stadiums are public venues." So.....I pay taxes and my kids can go to school, I can drive on the roads, I can walk in gov't buildings for services and now I can go to vikes games too? WOW. What a deal- will the tickets just show up in the mail then after the stadium is built???

Bagley says... "We haven't got any certainty regarding the future of this team in Minnesota." I will suggest that the State doesn't have $650,000,000 to subsidize Wilf's 21,000 car parking lot with a football facility. Spare me the passive-aggressive threats Mr. Bagley.

The Vikings must realize they have no leverage, but are hoping the public doesn't. Come to an agreement or else they won't renew? Then what? They play at some high school? They fold the team (and it's ~$1B in value)? This is all posturing.

"Vikings issue reminder." What is that supposed to mean? The stadium issue is their problem, not mine. Please do not insult our intelligence by attempting to stick us with the obligation of building a stadium. Thanks.

The Vike's sound like an irresponsible bratty teen threatening to move out of the family home. Go ahead a move, I say. You haven't built yourself a new house, so what are you going to do? And no, we're not going to fund your new palace. So go ahead and move.

LESTER Go find another lease some where that will give you a better deal than Minnesota has or some place that will give you 700 million to build your own place because 75% of us taxpayers do not want to.

Rehab the metrodome.Best option by far.1/2 the cost of the site in Arden Hills. If Wiggy Ziltch doesn't like it move the team. We all have better things to do anyway on Sunday than watch the Vikings embarrass themselves.

Now is the time to raise the rent on the dome, so if they do decide to play there, the state could raise some revenue instead of giving it away to the rich out of towners and athletes.
