"Our values and principles and beliefs are solid and strong and they're working, and we don't need to re-evaluate those," .... REALLY NOW? Nothing is working in the GOP party. A statement like that shows complete denial of the situation. Great pick cons for your new "leader".

You gotta love the GOP when they say their not sure if the former party leaders are responsible for the financial mess!! GOP has gotta go forward and not waste time looking back!! As a former diector/boss of 40 people I knew I would and should be held accountable for anything that happen in my entire operation. I believe the former is a long held universal tenant in the business world. However in the world of the elite GOP we will simply look ahead and learn from past mistakes! Apparently there will be no individual consequences?? That is why the GOP will likely not see for a long time any GOP votes or support from Independent voters like me!!

More proof that the GOP is as fiscally bankrupt as it is intellectually bankrupt. No wonder their failed ideas have pile-driven us into a recession that it has taken Democrats (both in-state and nationally) to dig us out of. As per usual, this "party of personal responsibilty" refuses to take any.

Is this the same "beleaguered" GOP that currently controls the Senate and the House? In Minnesota? Have fun taking your pot-shots, just wait until the 2012 Session begins!

"Shortridge said fixing the debt is "pretty simple -- raise more, spend less." - It would seem like a good idea for the state of MN too - especially that piece about "raising more."

"just wait until the 2012 Session begins!" ... This session will be different with Senjum as majority leader. He is older and wiser than Koch and knows how to get things done without ostracizing people..

A endless paranoia sky is falling blame game.
