If I have to start reading the license app to see if I'm donating a kidney or $$, I'd say I'm more likely to do neither than both. I don't see how this is gonna help. One step forward two steps back.

OH OH, I can see myself running a car in a garage with the door up. The sneaky thing about CO is every minor exposure adds up. It takes 1/3 year for every contaminated red blood cell to die & be replaced by an UN-contaminated red blood cell.

I have no intention of donating any organs until we have a National healthcare system that covers transplants for ALL Americans, not just the rich and those lucky enough to have a health plan that covers it. Arizona had two people die after they had their state funding for their transplants cut off by the republican controlled legislature.

Gay people can't donate organs. If they wan to increase organ notations how about you quit discriminating. I've convinced all of my family and manyy friends to say no to organ donation and no to donating blood because of these policies.

lechevalier5 and mnpls123: I'm confused. What is a boycott supposed to accomplish? Is it to punish someone? I don't get it.

I've convinced all of my family and manyy friends to say no to organ donation and no to donating blood because of these policies." mnpls123: Can you provide any corroboration for this? All of the information I have states that organ health is determined at time of death and exclusions include things like parasite, viral/bacterial infections, anemia, extreme immaturity, and cancers. There is no mention of sexual preference. It would be a shame if you and others are convincing people to withhold a life saving donation because of false information based on your political leanings or sexual preference. Having watched a dear friend pass away after losing his fight to live while waiting for a liver transplant on the 23rd, I can assure you that he and his friends and family would have been grateful for a "gay liver"
