Chanhassen event is canceled, but warmth could lure more than 1,000 to take plunge in Lake Minnetonka.

I can just see the headline now - "Hundreds take synchronized plunge by accident" (as 8-10 inch ice gives way under heavy pressure - one too many egg nogs suspected culprit).

I do the ALARC event in Excelsior every year and it's a blast. Did it this morning!
