Childress was very impressed with Ponder, but added, he is no T-Jack.

Good article. I like hearing what childress has to say although I wish he'd take a coaching job so wilf wouldn't have to pay him anymore. Iam also curious about how well spielman & chili got along ala moss trade??

Colonel Klink will NEVER coach in the NFL again and that's a fact!!! Us purple homers find it outright hilarious that the vikings clueless front office run by Zygi Wilf's brother Mark "The Wimp" Wilf gave Klink a three year iron clad contract extension and then fired him four months later. Good old Klink has been sitting on his coach this entire season collecting his muti-million dollar contract with one full year to go. That is what the Wilf's deserve for refusing to hire a general manager which is their most glaring need and has been since these New Jersey extortionists took control of the vikings with their mere 51% ownership stake. I'm sure the Wilf's really don't care about squandering over $5 million dollars for Klink's contract extension because they raised season ticket prices on us purple homers for the fifth straight year in the 2011 season and I'm sure they are still dumb enough to believe that the Minnesota taxpayers are going to foot the bill for 80% of the cost of their 1.1 billion dollar pipe dream new stadium in Arden Hills. I got news for you Wilf; it's not going to happen.

Former Viking wide receiver Sidney Rice hurt again with Seattle but still collecting his paychecks? Shocking!

Childress who? Who cares. We have enough problems in front of us to worry about the past.

Another Childress story? Why? Let's have one on Tice, Steckel, even Van Brocklin, if you want to dig him up

A mark of a great organization is when you have employees other organizations want. In the Vikings case they have an ex-coach, quarterback and wide receiver who are all available to any other team in the league and no one wants them!
