So I noticed that the Big Ten will play the Pac 12 in sports going forward. The closest Minnesota gets to the Rose Bowl is playing UCLA.

You might also add a sentence to each of the teams and bowls paragraphs about NCAA problems - like Ohio State's Tressel's little cheating problem during that time, and Michigan's recruiting problems with the NCAA - and every football team's problems except Minnesota, Indiana, and Northwestern... Odd.. they didn't get hand-spanked by the NCAA or the press, but they didn't get to a BCS bowl, either...

Reusse the only reason the Gophers haven't played in the Capital or Outback is that they get leapfrogged by lesser teams in the Big Ten due to their fans travelling better. In 2003 the Gophers finished 4th in the Big Ten and had a 9-3 record that got them an invite to the Music City Bowl. 9 wins and all they got was a Music City Bowl invite! The biggest travesty is that the Big Ten let's bowls pick teams with worse records over more deserving teams with better records due to how well their fans "travel".
