The Wolves opened the season with another defeat, but this one saw them go toe-to-toe with one of the league's best teams.

Beasley -8 & Johnson -13 on the +/-. TWolves need to get rid of players who do not play defense. W Johnson was a poor draft choice. TWolves need more players like Barea, +11. All the Thunder starters were in the + column. Hopefully, Adelman, will put a short leash on Beasley and Johnson.

Too bad for the loss, but I think this will be a fun season to watch. I'm surprised Adelman did not call a time out when the Wolves had the chance to tie the game. Defense is better than last year but still sucks. However, I think it'll improve now that Adelman is the coach. JJ and Rubio rocks and should've played more during the 3rd quarter when OKC made their run! My biggest concern is that the team has no go to guy at the end of the game; clearly Beasley is not that guy. Love doesn't seem to have the one-on-one offensive skill to be that guy either.

Really a bit sloppy by both teams most of the time but I gotta love the up side to the new Wolves. JJ you can tell is going to add some leadership, as will Love, and if Adelman can get coach-out the short comings, they will make some waves. Come next year, this team will be one to reckon with. I'm excited to see the team progress.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how good the defense is when you play against one of the best players in the world in Kevin Durant. He is a great player and Westbrook is on his way to being great. The Wolves have a lot reasons to be happy though. They were playing 2 rookies with a new addition in JJ at the end of the game to go along with the young studs Beasley and K-Love. The future looks good.

I am from North Carolina and tuned in tonight on my NBA League Pass just to see the NBA debut of Ricky Rubio. I thought he was probably an overrated European hyped player. After watching him tonight I will now say I was dead wrong. This guy is the real deal and you guys are lucky to have him playing in your city. IMHO the T-Wolves would have won tonight if Adelman would have but a leash on Beasley. This guy was out of control and forcing way too many shots. If the shot isn't there he needs to give up the rock. Berea and Rubio know this, maybe they can teach him. I look forward to catching more Twovles games the remainder of the season.

Rubio was for the most part outstanding. He isn't scoring much now and probably will never average more than 15-17 a game but he is making plays with is ball handling and unbelievable passing. This dude might be a better playmaker/passer right now than Steve Nash in his prime. He is for real and can play decent defense as well. When the defesne backed off of him a couple of times he drilled his shot. Without him the offense just didn't gel much, same with Barea who is a saavy player and provides a constant spark.

dlb1946....When I checked out the stats tonight Beasley was -8, Love was -4 Williams -4.Beasley can do nothing right for any fan here in Minnesota. He was the leading scorer tonight I kept the Wolves in the game.He gets no respect.I hope he does get traded.I am tired of the negativity about Beasley.Wes Johnson is a SF and is playing out of position. He is not a SG and never will be.He would be better coming off the bench. The lineup that was best for the Wolves tonight was Love(C),Williams(PF),Beasley(SF) Barea(G),Rubio(G)These guys should get the most minutes every night.

WOW, I'M telling you guys this team is for real.I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Barea and Rubio but the other point guard starting???The toughness that bring Barrea to this team wow. Know the Maverick should be guessing themselves why we didnt sing our secret weapon from last year, you know what thank you Dallas.

jsestudiosDec. 26, 1110:43 PM

One more thing I like Beasley, but some body tell him to pass the ball. Team work is what brings champioships.

Beasely is all he's ever going to be. His current style doesn't fit a disciplined team approach.
