Beasley is not very good. trade him.

youknowit123: yes i do know it, beasley is good, he can score and will get better. he is young and one of the few players on the wolves who can create their own shot. just wait until he starts to figure some stuff out and he will. randolph has been completely unimpressive to me, wells prolly should be cut unless they want a mentor but he cant play.

The first 4 minutes of that game were absolutely horrible from both teams, I've never seen such sloppy basketball. But besides the point, very entertaining game.

A couple thoughts after viewing tonight's game... Ridnour is great--at getting his own shot. When he penetrates, he can't finish, and he can't dish. In other words, he can't do anything to help his teammates be more successful offensively. As soon as Rubio gets healthy, he needs to start so that the Wolves can get into a good offensive rhythm. Malcolm Lee is WAY better than Johnson and Ellington, and Ridnour for that matter, and should get lots of playing time at the point and at shooting guard. Love is VERY impressive. I had my doubts about him, but no more. He is for real and is the cornerstone of this team. Beasely does not look good, and I have no idea what is up with Randolph. They both could end up in the lots of potential never realized category. It could be that they both need Rubio in order to up their game, but Love can do it with or without Rubio.

Pretty ugly game tonight, other than Love's play. I would say after just two games, we can see that there are a few players on this roster that have no spot in the rotation of a successful NBA team: Ellington, Pekovic, Bonzi, Randolph, and dare I say Ridnour. I can not stand watching Ridnour and his selfish play, he dribbles around and takes questionable shots, very rarely getting his teammates involved or directing the offense towards our mismatches. My rotation would be Rubio, Barea, Johnson, Lee, Beasley, Webster, Love, Williams, Tolliver, and Darko. Darko's playing time should depend on the opposing team's center. Get rid of Ridnour asap and package some of those other scrubs in the deal.

Give Rick Adelman a full year working with B-easy before you lose all confidence in him. Rick has a knack for bringing out the best in players like Michael Beasley. He's got a ton of basketball talent and has a pretty good relationship with KLove which is good. The Wolves got him for peanuts so if he's willing to let Coach Adelman teach him the right way to play the NBA game, he's worth keeping around.

Really hope that the late comeback indicates the Wolves have graduated from absolutely f****ing awful to merely mediocre in the 4th quarter, even if it was just a preseason game. Even that much of a change would probably be enough for, what, like 10 more wins?

sloppy happy that 1st games of season are on christmass day so I can watch turnovers and missed shots over and over.

penpalsDec. 22, 11 6:28 AM

watched the game and just thought "well" "hummm" not totally awful, saw some actual defense at times, never know, they really need another big man in the middle

Ridnour couldn't hit the side of a barn last night... he has a good percentage from 3 point land, but if he's driving or is taking a mid-range shot... he's garbage. We hear how little offensive game Rubio has as far as shooting the ball... Ridnour looked incompetent anywhere close to the basket.
