We don't even need to talk about interceptions, the secondary is pathetic with the worst Viking team ever, as a team and coaching staff overall, records do not lie and going possibly 3-13 or even the worst 2-14. They are definately pathetic. With a couple of old players on both sides that are decent, 2 offensive players that are real good, and 1 defensive player the team stinks.

E.J. is a great guy who never lived up to the promise he showed as a young player. Much of this may have been due to his injuries. The last couple years, he has played "average" on his good days. He's not one of the guys you need to keep on this roster. The fact that no movement has been shown on his contract is a clear indication that Viking management agrees with me. The Vikings have a few players of star quality that have tremendous upside. Sign some key free agents at left tackle, safety, and DB. Draft Justin Blackmon. Best hands and ball skills I have ever seen from a college wideout. He can't run like Moss could, but who could? The Vikings simply can't pass on him if they have the number 2 overall. All of our aging stars can't be released; Hutch, Winfield? Great guys and great careers. But they can let them go.

if he'll sign a mid level 2 year deal then sign him then move to the 3-4 and try him at mlb and olb. i think he could be a good 3-4 olb. regardless hes got some life and we need guys who can play, if he's affordable sign him...

We miss Ben Leber, could use him this year. Went all in 2010, look where we are today. This team didn't have a chance and we all knew it. McNabb-c'mon man! Draft picks are a bit suspect-TD Tobes was a solid pick.

Frazier is the victim of two of the WORST coordinators in league history. If he thinks this team is going to improve with BILL MUSGRAVE running this offense then he is in denial! Musgrave is a disgrace to the NFL. And he is one of the BIGGEST reasons this will be the worst Vikings team in there 50 years history. If they come back, my season tickets will be dropped, that is a fact!

By the way Mr Wilf, Hire a GM for Gods sake! Doesnt it tell you something when your 2-12 and your the only team in the entire league without a GM???????? We fans do not deserve this!! Start acting like a top notch organization, or continue to look like a Mickey Mouse Circus of the NFL and the Butt of other teams jokes...! Geeeeez already!

Unless the Vikings switch from the cover-2, they are in big trouble with Henderson or Brinkley coming back. You need a mobile MLB and as evidence by tight ends and slot receivers constantly going off agains the Purple, they don't have a mobile MLB. Get rid of this bend but don't break, vanilla cover 2 defense, the league has passed it by. Literally.

I agree with Painteddog about this defense. The Vikes haven't been able to cover receivers in the secondary for the past 10 years or better. The zone is too easy to beat unless you have corners that are quick, instinctive and completely understand their responsibilities and those of the linebackers and safeties. There are alot of seams in this type of defense and defenders have to be able to anticipate the routes that receivers are going to run and try to manipulate those routes to their advantage by rerouting and bumping receivers. I also agree that our safeties suck and not just a little. Worst in the league. I like the idea of trying Griffin at safety. He was never scared of contact and is a pretty good tackler and even though he's lost a step, would still be able to cover on the back end. As long as they're moving corners, lets move Winfield back there as well. Same reasons as Griffin and possibly could give them a great duo. Of course that means going out and finding new corners, but they'd have to do that anyway. Definitly time now, in the last 2 games, to look at all the players on this roster at every position and try to get them some game reps. I would not be suprized if 2/3's of this team and maybe more are not back next year. Let's get this stadium built, get this team back to respectabiliy.
