I have made these twice and they are delicious, but both times the stuffing leaked out of the peppers while they were baking and I had to push it back in which is very messy. Using more bread crumbs to bind does not stop it. How can I prevent this?
This also happened to me..so.I left the tops on the peppers and made a slit from the top to bottom, cleaned them and then stuffed them through the slit...everything stayed inside and they looked yummy because the filling puffed up not out...they were a hit...I also microwaved the peppers for 3 minutes prior to stuffing to soften them alittle...
