I don't know why society and the media makes such a big deal about something like an old spice cake. It is NOT that rare to find that kind of 'guy stuff' on eBay or at estate sales for cheap. I am not a collector by any means in the typical feminine sense of 'oh what a cutesy twezzure', but I got a pint of whiskey from the 1890's which I got for $40 for a pint of the stuff (and it tasted EXACTLY the same as typical whiskey does now), plus several bottles of unopened bitters which tasted sort of like schnapps. I also still have a bottle of curry powder 1/2 used already from the 1880's, which, once again, tastes the same as curry powder made nowadays. I also had a bottle of molasses from just after the Civil War, once again it was inexpensive and fresh. With a spice cake, it is probably STALE, so why is it being treated so special?!

a cake is more interesting than spices or plain alcohol, since those would be expected to keep much longer. mouthwash is just jealous that none of his twezzures made the paper.

why is it that you need to be such a negative nancy? Maybe some people find this grossly interesting! I personally think its a funny story, but to each his own

This reminds me of Peterman's wedding cake. Only, I think Elaine would have been better served not to dance with this.
