If the Vikings want to keep a felon on their roster, why not move him to the practice squad? Give Ponder a break, he's playing behind maybe the worst OL with no receivers, and a fossel of a game plan. On defence, who on this team is worth a draft pick besides Allen, Williams and Greenway (who's over rated)? You have NO player, NO coaching staff and now a joke for an owner, Hey Wilf(s) pay for your own damn stadium, Jerry Jones did!

True or False: The Vikings are doomed for keeping Frazier and company around another year. (True). True or False: Since it looks like Wilf is going to get financial help building a stadium he should have to "suck it up" for the cost it would take to fire Frazier and company, albeit he is still paying Chilly. True, Wilf has learned a lesson now that hiring his own coach isn't the answer. It was his mistake, and he should be responsible financially. Especially if he wants financial help in building a stadium.

Here's what the Vikings should do. Admit to Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson that this team will be weak for the next few years. Ask Peterson and Allen which teams they would like to be traded to to enable them to be part of a quality club in the prime of their careers. Thank them for their efforts and trade them for draft picks and start the rebuilding process.

What ever happened to innocent until PROVEN guilty in a court of law? If you're going to pay Cook, then he absolutely has to play, nobody rides for free! His suspension was dubious, but in typical disasterous fashion by Spielman and Frazier, nobody filled the roster spot, and it was never made clear how long he would be out. Indecisive leaders are the worst kind. And this franchise will be forever doomed until a major shakeup occurs. Begone Spielman and Frazier!

It would be silly to get rid of your better players if you want to rebuild. You need them for a strong nucleus. To get rid of them means you would need to replace them with someone equivalent or better. That would be assinine to even think you could do that. You need to get rid of the dead weight which would start with Leslie.

I think Zoilov is right. Vikings have 3 blue-chip players in Allen, Peterson and Harvin. Peterson is great, no doubt, but he'll end up being like Sanders and never get a chance to win a Super Bowl on this team. He would easily bring a couple firsts and player(s). Allen is in his prime and would also garner multiple high picks. Harvin should be kept given our need to improve the passing game. Our offense looked fine with Gerhart in there. Bring in a coach/gm (ala Brian Billick) and let him have full reign. This team needs a make-over and Peterson and Allen deserve a chance at a ring.

Trade Jared Allen? Our secondary is so bad so people want to trade our best pass rusher who still has several good years left. He makes secondaries look better than they really are. Our secondary is historically bad that it's hard to notice. As for AP the most we will get is a 1st rd pick. And it would probably be a mid to late 1st round pick. It's a passing league look at the Packers, Patriots, and Saints they use multiple RBs no one will give us value for him. Keep them both. We will need them to help recruit FAs. A competent GM and Coach could have us competitive in 2012 with a good draft and FA period. If we cut our aging/injured players we will be more than $30MM under the cap.

Losers can go buy their own stadium!

If you want to make an interception on any play, you have to be somewhere in the vicinity of where the ball is being thrown, and these clowns that are out there on defense are so far away from the ones they are defending against that it would take a miracle to make an interception? A fundamental that apparently our genius coaches have not figured out yet?

johnhenry99 -If the Vikings want to keep a felon on their roster, why not move him to the practice squad? >>>>>>>> Because he would never make it to the practice squad. A player has to clear waivers to make it to the practice squad. That is why he is still occupying a roster spot.
