Ricky Rubio wowed the crowd, the Love-Williams-Beasley frontcourt looked like a cohesive unit, and a sizeable crowd went home happy after the exhibition victory.

Rubio played as well as I expected.Ridnour quietly scored 9 points(4/6) in 18 minutes.Barea is good(14/6).I think all 3 guards can be successful in Adelman's offense.Beasley 21/6/3 but Love(21/15/3) will always have 1up on him because of his rebounding ability.Beasley had two nice assists to Love. D.Williams played well at PF.As Williams gets better Toliver may not see many minutes unless there are injuries.Randolf did not play well and this surprised me.Wes did not have a good shooting night.I am getting concerned that he may be a streak shooter.

Love looks way different after loosing weight and he will probably even better for it. At half he has 15 and 11, 4 of 5 on threes. He made some sharp passes as well. But we know Love...Derrick Williams is a sharpshooter. First 3 shots from behind the arc, all nothing but net. Rubio looks great, NBA fits him perfectly. Exceptional at ball handling and passing, with saavy. Had a nice layup in traffic on the dribble drive. He finds the open player every time down the floor with a perfect crisp pass. If he can shoot a little, then superstar is written all over! If he plays 30 minutes/game, I am guessing about 9 assists/game, maybe more because the Wolves outside shooting looks like a strength. Barea is simply very good. Beasley is healthy, in great shape, meaning he should be a lot like early last season, a scoring machine. Coaching looks great as well. Randolph and Johnson played like crap. Darko sucked too except for a few blocks, which is about all he is good for. It is way too early to see if all this holds but so far, consider me impressed.

This team can be good. They need confidence and focus. They could without a doubt be a playoff team. As bad as they were last year, lets not forget they played a lot of teams tough for three and a half quarters only to fall apart. I think this is where Adelman will make the biggest difference!

This game was lots of fun to watch. Lots to be happy about tonight -- especially Love, Rubio, Beasley, Williams, and Barea. Overall, the team played well and made a strong showing. On the negative side, they did allow the Bucks to score in the paint a bit more than I'd like to see. But they did so many things right and so many things well! Great win, lots of optimism for the season. This fan smiled all the way home.

The Wolves may have the best collection of offensive players from top to bottom on their roster expect for maybe the Clippers. Adleman has them in an offense that makes sense for their talent. Unlike last year Adleman has figured out how to properly use Love and Beasley. The ball seemed to go through Beasley almost every time down the floor which opened up Love for three pointers, tips under the basket, and cuts to the basket. That's how they have to play. The three guard combo of Ridnour, Rubio, and Barea may turn out to be something special. Rinour and Barea can score the ball and the nice thing is Rubio is not needed to score, but instead be a floor general, which is did ver well tonight. Derrick Williams can be this team's Lamar Odom. When he is on the court with Beasley and Love, this team has potential to be very dangerous. But what was most impressive was the defensive intensity. They actually looked like they enjoyed playing defensive. Still they made some defensve rotation mistakes, and turned the ball over a little more than they needed, but this team looks like it can compete with anyone in the West on a given night. I guess we will know for sure in a little over a week when OKC comes to town. I am finally optimistic.

I was there - the crowd was definitely into it. Ricky looked great from the start in his first NBA game. He's not the greatest on defense, but made some sick passes. He should have had a few more assists if it weren't for people not catching the ball or missing easy shots. This is definitely an athletic team!

3 significant contributors in this game were Rubio, Williams, and Barea. None of whom have endured the dismal losing seasons the Wolves have had over the last few year. They are each from successful situations and I believe that could be contagious. I have high hopes for this team, for the first time since KG left.

It's extremely funny how people are already praising Rubio and thinking this team is headed towards greatness. Get a grip people. This is the Wolves, a team that is the laughing stock of the NBA, better known as one of the worst fanchises in all of sports history. They played an EXHIBITION game. In the regular season players don't care till the 4th quarter. Wait till the Wolves start out 0-8 and see how excited people are. NBA is a joke. Had the chance to fix itself and they did nothing. It's somewhere between NASCAR and WWE.
