Sadly, some Minnesotans think five months of snow is how people live. No snow means dry roads for travel, so people aren't dying just to get to work. Great for the economy. Our tax money doesn't go for snow removal, people are eager to be out and about, spending money. If you want to own a business that makes money off snow, move to Aspen.

This is the way most of the rest of the country is every year at Christmas. The longer we go without snow-the shorter the time until we can play golf in the spring. I love it.

So. The federal Climate Prediction Center was completely wrong about December's weather. How about a report on how often they get their predictions correct? Are they getting better at their job? NOAA as a department costs taxpayers 5.5 billion dollars... are we getting our money's worth?

To all those people that put up Christmas lights.....bummer. Without the snow, they just aren't the same.

While I understand that not having snow makes traffic easier to deal with and makes all the people who hate snow happy, it makes me really sad not seeing any snow outside in December. Also, the group Kadee Crottier sings for is called DeCantus (www.dacantus.com) for anyone who is interested.
