Say what? Cudduyer should have been offered more than 3/24mil because he had as much to do with the Twins success as the M/M boys? Since when does a player get paid big dollars for being a great "clubhouse guy"??? Good grief! Based on performance over his career, Cudduyer might be one of the most overpaid players in MLB. At least the M/M boys have won an MVP, despite their recent injuries.

Ah, yes, Louisiana...a real role model of corrupt state government for other states to admire and emulate. According to statistics compiled by the Corporate Crime Reporter, it was number one for the period between 1997 and 2006, with 326 federal corruption convictions. Minnesotans can only aspire to such greatness.

I must have missed your comments about there being a good possibility the Vikings would upset the Saints at home Sunday. Skol Vikings!

Wow... Louisiana being a model for anything ethical??? LMAO!!! I wonder how much they had to increase average class size for students in order to find the money for their corporate overlords? ... ... ... Regarding the Twins and Cuddyer... thank you Michael for your work ethic, quality representation for the team and our state, and best wishes in the future. HOWEVER, the Twins played this one well. Put a reasonable offer on the table, signed a quality replacement, plus now get two draft choices to help build for the future. Sid, you just like to appease the ex-Twin so you get interviews in the future, which is your job... but I'm satisfied with how it was played and how it turned out.

San Antonio, and refurbished Alamo Dome, are where the Vikings will end up. Maybe Red McCombs buys them back from Zygi!

I'm not sure why the comparison with Louisiana came up but I'm guessing that it has to do with raising a lot of money during difficult times for a beautiful football stadium. I would have to wonder if things might be a little bit more complicated in Minnesota where there is a debate over a stadium site, how much each idea costs, and how each idea could be financed. Because of high proposed costs there isn't only a problem presented with; No current unified goal in Minnesota to just fix up an old stadium. There is also a problem that presents itself as; No current unified goal with anything regarding an NFL stadium. Things havn't stayed simple in good old Minnesota.

My wife works in the Benson Tower. Benson bought it from the state because the state agreed to rent 75% of space at inflated rate, 33% increase on rate. Benson makes lots of money and it is not on the Saints books!! LA has been forking over millions to keep the Saints in the Superdome, now the Mercedes-Benz Superdome - Saints get that money too. Bottom line - if you value your NFL team and all it brings to your state - you must BUILD A STADIUM or you will never have another team.

So Sid, how come you do not talk about how the 49ers are getting their stadium??? 88% private financing!
