Few key Vikings will become free agents after this season, which will help as the team tries to plug holes.

Frazier said they just need to fill a FEW HOLES. This qualifies as the most ludicrous statement ever by a Viking coach. Frazier is absolutely in denial. We are not even sure we have a starting QB, and Greenway who is supposedly one of the best LB's on the roster (at least paid that way), could be replaced by a mediocre free agent. WOW

Who cares that this team has few free agents. This team needs to be completely rebuilt. We only have two players who would start for any of the playoff caliber teams Peterson, and Jared Allen. What a joke fill in a few holes, give me some of what Sids been taking, it seems to take you out of reality.

USC LT Matt Kalil will enter the 2012 draft. Top rated tackle, sure top five pick, MIN and STL fight for the #2 pick behind probable INDY at #1. If the Rams and Vikings end up with the same record, strength of schedule is first tiebraker, followed by division record, then conference record, then a coin flip if necessary.

All three free agents mentioned should not be resigned. Good players but past their prime.

We need to acquire more draft picks without trading down. This means trading the older veterans. Kevin Williams, Hutch, Winfield, ect. I don't care if they are 5th round picks, we need to get younger. E.J. should be let go unless he is willing to stay for pennies. I wouldn't sign any free agents to large contracts who are older than about 27, 28. Save the money and rebuild. Go for the youngest free agents who are somewhat cheap with potential. We need at least another yr after this before we can talk about playoffs. Oh and last but definately not least,CAN SPIELMAN!

I think the Vikes have more than a few holes. Too many aging players or marginal players have cost them. If I were the GM I would have to consider everyone's trade value - even AD and Jared Allen. As much as I'd hate to lose either one, they should both be worth multiple players and draft picks. You look at their schedule - this team could just as easily be 8-5 or 9-4 as 2-11. That's football.

How in the world is Frazier being brought back as the head coach? What about 2 wins and 11 losses says bring the clown back? Pathetic that more fans are not railing against this.

Wow judging a guy because he says "we have a few holes to fill"? REALLY? That's called tactfullness. Second why do people continue to rip on the guy who is ranked 3rd in the NFL in tackles, and has had more tackles in the last 3 season than any other player in the NFL. HUH? The job of an OLB more than anything else, is to tackle. As far as Frazier, you don;t judge a coaches ability by how he does coaching subpar talent. When Bill Belichek was fired by the Browns years ago it was because he was a "lousy" coach. HMMMMM gee wally could it be that there has never been a "GREAT" coach who didn't have "GREAT" talent? 3 seasons ago, whether they admit it or not, PACKER fans were screaming for McCarthy to be FIRED cause he was a "lousy" coach, now all of a sudden he is a genius.

Leslie Frazier is trying to soft-peddle the number of holes on the roster because there are more games to be played. And he's right. A few brief seasons ago, the Vikings beat the Packers home and away. For now the table is turned, but we'll be back Green Bay!

Should have been started right after Favre left. This franchise has been poorly run for the last 15 years. Too many free agents brought in to keep fan hope's alive. Now the will put the carrot out in a different way to get the suckers to continue buying season tickets - that and a new stadium. Yeah there is one born every minute and Minnesota has lots of them.
