Pierre-Marc Bouchard suffered a broken nose and cut lip Tuesday night when he was driven face-first into the boards by a Winnipeg Jets defenseman. Then Guillaume Latendresse was lost during the first intermission of Wednesday's 4-3 shootout loss to Chicago because of what coach Mike Yeo termed post-concussion syndrome.

At least Bogosian got a 5 + game misconduct, instead of a 2 or nothing at all. Still, would be nice to see cheap shots penalized a little tougher. He should be out as long as Bouchard is out plus 3 more games (or more). No place in this game for cheap shots.

Time to say goodbye to Lats. Not hating, but the guy can't stay healthy. Good thing we have talent in the wings.

I feel bad for Butch. I dont think Begosion tried to hurt him. If you watch the replay you can see he tried to grab Butch when he was going down. I bet he was thinking, HS! I hammered the little guy! I still think that someone needs to respond for hurting Butch though! I bet his entire head is throbbing! By all means, dont bring him back to early, we will need him this spring for our playoff RUN!
