Wow! So that is how a real coach thinks. What a difference a new coach can make. Now, if he can get Beasley to buy into that, we could be in for some exciting basketball. No more of "the ball stops here" offense. No more holding onto the ball for 3-4 seconds, have the game come to a halt, have teammates stand around watching, waiting for something to happen...the ball will move and find the open man. It will be exciting, and will lead to more wins and a much more exciting brand of basketball. Rubio, Williams, Love, Beasy....I just can't wait.

just win baby, thats all we need. i dont give a rumpus how you do it just do it. we have watched coaches, players GM's come and go to fall in the basement of the West. it high time to turn this lost, sorry excuse for a team around and win games.

I agree with manolive, this is how a real coach thinks!!! Getting a players to buy into the system will be key. But if they do, the sky is the limit. We have way too much talent to simply waste and not compete. This change should push us and make the other teams in the league pay attention and know that the Timberwolves will be a force this year and years to come. I can't wait!! Go, Timberwolves!!

Now if we can just get Love to stop boxing his own teammates out for rebounds and actually stay in his defensive assignment we might be on to something.

Agree with Jellybean and Manolive, and I'll also add that it's not just about getting players to buy into a system, Adelman is structuring his system around his players. This was a concept that Rambis could never grasp, as he tried to force a team with no shooting guards into an offense predicated around strong shooting guard play (MJ & Kobe)... I said all last year that we had enough talent to win 25-30 games with a good coach. This year, we have enough talent to surpass the .500 mark with a good coach.
