NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met briefly with reporters before Sunday's game at Ford Field, and reporters from the Twin Cities, of course, wanted to know how Goodell felt about the Vikings' ongoing stadium issues.

Goodell can come begging all he wants for a new stadium. He alludes to the fact that the teams owners wants it, some of the states leaders want it. Didn't hear him mention that the majority of Minnesotans want it though? Or did I miss that? Maybe? Just maybe Goodell should devote a little more of his time to improving the quality of NFL officiating? Ya think?

Yes I'm surpirsed he didn't mention that, being that polls show that 75% of Minnesotans want to see the Vikings remain in Minnesota. True, a majority are opposed to tax dollars going to fund a stadium, but upwards of 80% prefer using gambling proceeds to fund the public's share.

Stadium4life? That is the point. The public does not have a share in the stadium. NADA, none. All the profits go to the owners and the NFL. The public's revenue funds the bailout of these for profit private entities!
