His last answer is perhaps the best part of the whole interview. Potential gets coaches fired. That is a great quote. And it tells everyone that he does not care how good they COULD be. He cares about who is playing the best right now. No excuses. I like that. A lot.

Wow. It's nice to have a couch who is articulate and has "been around". I have a feeling they'll get some of my cash for tix this year.

Translation for coach speak - if you don't play defense you're on the bench. Make your teammates better means pass the ball. Can't believe with their talent level they lost so many games last year, that was one horrific coaching staff.

I hope the players buy in quickly to his system ... he is a proven winner and his history shows that he knows how to win in this league. Last year we had incompetent players because we had an incompetent coach... we are not going to have an incompetent coach this year, so it's on the players. They have to give more effort on the defensive end this year. Don't be surprised to see Beasley on the bench for periods of time until his defensive effort improves.

You couldn't be more right. It is like poetry. Reading this interview almost brought tears to my eyes. I almost don't even care that we have to give our #1 pick to the Clippers. next spring. I'm beginning to think that maybe this winter wont be so bad afterall.

Now THAT's entertainment! You gotta love the personalities and the young talent on this team. Rubio and Love are hilarious. I think the Wolves are going to show signs of actually being good this season. LOVE Adelman!

As a Blazer fan I can tell you this - Fans will enjoy watching this team play under Rick Adelman. He got the most out of the Blazers and got them to the Finals twice. The Future is bright in Minnesota. Great hire by the owner.

Rick Adelman will show fans what bone head Rambis could not. He will have pick n roll plays set up for the guards & KLove. You will also see the ball in Love's hands more at the top of the key to initiate the offense. Rick will also try and take advantage of Love's outlet passes much more than Rambis. If the players run and fill the lanes Adelman will let Love find them with pinpoint passes. Yes it will take some time but once the team understands what Rick wants done this team will be worth the ticket price
