Minnesota Wild fans are very use to watching a successful team play the way that they are playing right now, 3rd in the league in goals against, behind the Stanley cup champ Bruins who is first but we will take it :).... Of course the Wild are near the bottom of the league in goals for but that does not bother any of the Wild faithful as we have been there before...... Mikko Koivou is playing a style that he was drafted to play and we are seeing his true potential, no more silliness, the rookie owner and gm are starting to gain experience but getting experience costs money and the Wild need to start selling tickets after some of the fans dropped the Wild off their radar

Ticket sales will comeback. One thing I know as a life long Minnesotan is this, put a winning product on the Ice, Field, or Court and we'll show up. The Vikings were a blackout candidate every weekend in the early 90's. Then they drafted Robert Smith and Randy Moss, started winning and people showed up. Same thing with Wild after Christmas when people are looking for something to do the X will be full. GO WILD!

"Win and Minnesota fans will show up." Maybe that was the real problem with the Wild the last few years. The team couldn't win without fan support; now they can. People, when are we going to realize that our Minnesota teams need our support, and our bodies in the seats, win or lose? Our presence during a losing streak tells them we have faith in them. That's a powerful message and a potent weapon in the team's arsenal. As for the Wild, we are the Team of 18000. Let's start acting like it.

@mnlady: Team don't 'need' our support, they are paid professionals. They receive support when they produce a product valuable to its consumers. This is a business, not a family.

The Twins and Vikings use excuses like injuries to cover up the fact that they have VERY poor teams this year. If they would look to the Wild and see what can be done with injuries to teammates, maybe they wouldn't be talking so loud. The only thing is. Minnesota sports fans are knowledgeable enough to see through the excuses.
