Why does Obama think we need a 50% boost in college graduate enrollment? Does he not understand how a capitalist pyramid system works? Not everyone can be at the top. The more that go, the more that will get disappointed. If you can't graduate in the top 20% of your class, college is a waste of time.

When the government needs to boost college grads by 50% does that mean the paper is diluted. Do not get me wrong I hope that more Americans can graduate college but if they are being graduated to boost the numbers does that really help the student. How many of these degrees will have a math background. I have been reading that there are manufacturing jobs out there but that the candidates can not do the math required because their degree did not have math. I would love to see a more educated America but they have to be educated and not just pushed through like in a mill. One other thing some people are not cut out for a four year degree so why are we not pushing the Technical Colleges also, they can find jobs in fields they lik and most find a job before they graduate and with much less debt.
