FREE garbage collection at ALL single family homes is what the fees should be used for. Better yet the city should hire ONE hauler to collect garbage for ALL single family homes for FREE. Tax relief is a "Pea under the shell GAME" - I want FREE garbage service. No more ice arenas, golf courses, etc - I want FREE garbage service at my home.

I wholheartedly agree with the previous post and Mr. Link. Teh landfill has very little benifit tot he Citizens of IGH. IGH is a poorly run dump. The Golf Course and the community center charge high fees and are VERY poorly run. Just drive through the city and see for yourself. Drive down poorly rebuilt Concord Ave. Garbage haulers, sleezy bars, a new liquor store built on formerly park property, run down homes and a strip joint. The whole city is an eysore. Thank God it has a halfway decent High School.
