I thought Wellman looked pretty decent,makes more sense to have him playing on 2nd rather than 4th line. Brodzi continues to exemplify hard work paying off and even Heater looked a little more energized. Tough stretch coming up, Gui the fragile would help with the scoring which might be needed in the coming games.

I agree with CC, the officiating has to get better. I hate to say it, but I thing we have been on the bad end of officiating. I sure would like to see these refs held accountable for their calls and non calls. Russo, you must know, do the refs at least get chewed out on poor officating or bad calls? I say treat them like the players, fine them, suspend them, etc.

MrBlue: Yes, the Wild get some calls missed but all teams do. A few Stars like Crosby may get a few more calls go their way, but the Wild would be well served to get their PP going so teams would think twice about taking marginal penalties. Make them pay and the cheap stuff goes away.

Wait a mintue Zid's been out for 8 games?? Time to waive him we don't need him and his lack luster defense, yea I know he's got a rocket for a shot and had 30 assists last year. But anyone can get a assist when his puck is rebounding off the goalie cuz of a hard shot. 4 Million for him is way overprice and was a bad signing.
