Here in Minnesota, we have proven over and over that we can fish out a lake. Instead of studies, commissions, etc, how about just offering a bounty on these carp. They'll be gone in no time.

This is a very difficult problem that has far reaching implications. If these carp become establish in the Minnesota River system, they have a freeway all the way to Hudson Bay via the Red River and the Churchill drainage. The Mississippi and the Missouri River drainages are also in jeopardy. These critter make Zebra Mussels look like crab grass. All sportsman need to support the Coon Rapids and Ford Dam initiatives. The Ford Dam lock should be closed and a barrier needs to be established on the Minnesota River very close to Ft Snelling
