Don't get too excited yet. We've seen the wild start strong in the past and miss or barely make the play offs. They are very young, and will be a better team next year, but it's reaching to think they are capable of making a deep playoff run this year.

Odds are you're right henrik, but it seems like every year a team that isn't considered top tier makes a run. This year it could be the Wild, especially if the scoring picks up even a little, goaltending has been stellar, young D have been extremely impressive and there's been a huge change in attitude. Go Wild !

I hope the Wild keep up their winning ways, but at some point they are going to have to start scoring early in the game. They can't keep playing from behind all the time. It will catch up to them.

I dont think we or they expect to make a playoff run this year. Myself, I think they will. I am sure we are going to have a losing streak or two, but I think we are too well coached to have much more than that. We do STILL need some goal scorers. I think our D is sound for years to come. Our goaltending is stellar for years to come. Either some of our current guys need to step up and start scoring on a more consitant basis, or we still have a half dozen trades to make.

I expect a different outcome to the final 20 games this year compared to last year with more younger players on the roster and 2 outstanding goalies. The odds are in our favor. Go Wild!

I don't find it necessary to rip the old coach in order to compliment the new one. Let's remember that Richards finished with an above .500 record while coaching a team for two years that had maybe 2.5 top six forwards. Yeo has done a decent job so far, but this team cannot score goals. There are nights when, even as a fan, I find them unwatchable right now. I'd obviously take wins over style points anyday, but it's awful early to be gushing all over Yeo.
