Senior car buyers prefer the old faves

I just retired (age 64.95) and I wouldn't be caught dead owning any of these cars on the list. These are old lady type cars for sure, except maybe the Hyundai. People around my age grew up in the 1960s - early 1970s muscle car era, and you would hope this group would still drive something sporty, and not an old lady car.

I am over 65 and do own one of the cars on the list, a Chevrolet Impala. It is the LTZ fully loaded model and I love it...and I would have loved it at age 50 as well.

Sitting at a upscale bar during the afternoon; I overheard a Cadallic sales guy talking about loosing sales he had with people who were going to sign the sales today and called it off because of this article about the CTS. I guess he had a couple of sales for the "V" coupe that back out of it because of the article and a few CTS-4 did the same. The guys where in their 40s and 50s!
