jerry, put a cork into both of your spouts. Kill is here to stay and your program is in decline.

Yup, and next year Kill's excuse will be that he only needs three more recruiting classes to get competitive. Wanna bet how his first recruiting class grades out versus the other B10 schools? I sure hope for the best -- because to date he's proven he can't coach. So maybe he can recruit? Oh sorry, that's what got the last guy fired wasn't it?

Gopher fans seem to think they have their coach of the Future, w/ this 7 year deal. Does the Mayo clinic agree?

Gentlemen why don't you go someplace where you won't get so stressed out. These comment areas especially Gopher Sports are not good for your health, I hope you can find a nice peaceful place to go. I don't know where you are from whether it be Wiskey, Ioway or even just a disgruntled indivdual who is looking for a place to feel better about yourself by ripping a coaching staff and players of a team you don't care about. Just to get you more riled up stick around a year or two and you will be gone because Coach Kill and his staff will be turning this program around so best wishes for a peaceful Thanksgiving to all, especially the whiners because they probably need it the most. GO GOPHERS!!!!!!!!

Bryant01; Charlie Strong had already been coaching at Louisville for a year before Minnesota was hiring. Get your facts straight before posting something stupid.

Jay-sus---this young man Kirksey has been working his butt off for 4years--one of the best defensive players the Gophs have--and hasn't gotten a sack? I, for one, will be pulling for the big guy this weekend to get one. How bout if the defensive coordinator pulls out a few stops and calls some all-out blitzes? Honestly, what have they got to lose? Big THANK YOU to Jerome and the rest of the departing seniors for their years of service. Here's to someday they'll be able to look back and say they were proud to be part of the group that put the Minnesota football program back on the road to respectability.
