He's 191 yards away from breaking Robert Smith's franchise record of 6,818 rushing yards.

"He has good retention of what we had been doing," Pagac said of Sapp. So, Fred, you're saying he remembers how to play a soft zone--10 yards off the line, how "not" to blitz off the corner or "jump a route" for a pick-6, give up huge chunks of yardage with blown coverage, and to whiff on the tackle after a completed pass? Because that is and has been the book on this Vikings secondary for years.

"Frazier continues to gush about Peterson's well-rounded skill set, his ability to be both a finesse runner and a power runner.".....Frazier thinks a well rounded running back is one that has speed and power.....I always thought it was one that could run, block, and catch!

Where has Toby Gerhart been with only 17 carries in nine games? Frazier's straightforward response Thursday: "It's tough when you're Adrian Peterson's backup." >>>>>>>>Then why did you waste a 2nd round pick on AP's backup!!!!

If Leslie is so high on Peterson and praising his well rounded skill set, then why is he CONSTANTLY pulling him off the field on third down. Seems our best player spends WAAAAAAAAY too much time on the sideline, especially of the coach thinks he's that good.

Who cares how many yards AP has? Since drafting "Half Day", the Vikings are 38-35 during his tenure and have had 2 winning seasons out of 5. Defenses have him figured out and he is a non-factor. I say trade him for draft picks while he still has value.

I'd start with asking for two first rounds and a 3rd for the "best running back" in the NFL. If you got that, would you trade?

AP could have broke that record long ago if 1) The Vikings would spend draft picks on O Lineman instead of another RB who does not play! And 2) With Bill Musgrave as offensive coordinator this team nor AP has NO CHANCE at having any offense. Musgrave is HORRIBLE. Vikings need to clean house and start with the man who hired Musgrave!

Individual records mean nothing when you're in LAST PLACE, again!!! At least last year was interesting when the Lions almost took last place from the vikes. And this year the vikes have it all to themselves once again...

I'm trying to figure out: at what point do you give up on working together as a team, to achieve team goals, and settle for "individual awards"? And surprisingly, no mention of the National Calf-Roping Championships and Jughead Allen.

Peterson will re-write all the worthless viking team rushing records there are but too bad he will NEVER get the one thing that really matters to everyone in the NFL and that is a SUPER BOWL RING!!! By the time his contract is over with the vikings he will have been retired and will join Barry Sanders as the best running back ever to never win a Super Bowl ring. What a waste!!!
