Down two goals and missing some key players for a stretch, Minnesota rallied past Columbus, completed a 3-2 trip and let out a hearty yell.

An ugly win is a win, but boy that was ugly. They need to tighten up the defense big time.

we'll take the 2 points. I like that we didn't totally implode when they scored a couple, but there is a laundry list of work to do. good way to end the trip. ty backstrom. We also beat a team that we really should beat, and that's a good thing.

So many guys injured, and the first line continues to underwhelm. But so many more stepping up big-time: every young D-man, Nick Johnson, Clutterbuck, Cullen, and of course the goaltending. This team is reeling ... all the way to the top of the conference.

Hey, after what we saw last night and people here griping about the type of win! Hockey seems to be the sport to follow this year. Gophers nationally No. 1 in the country and Wild 1st in Northwest division! Keep it going!!

Nobody is griping about the win. Fact is we gave up 43 shots and only had around 20 against one of the worst teams in the league. It WAS UGLY. Gotta love fans that hate it when anything negative is said, even if it is 100% truthful. Okay, rainbows and lollipops for everyone!!!!

Six points on a five game road trip, I'll take that every time. Also didn't give up any 'extra' points in 'three point games' against the west....Bonus.

We all know who centers the top line, and he has a C on his sweater... As in CULLEN. Once again Spurgeon is the best D-man on the ice, although the other youngsters look good too. Zidlicky is playing like he watched the Cam Barker instructional video and may need to be a healthy scratch soon. Very happy with the win, but you can't keep giving up that many shots, Backs earned his paycheck tonight. Go Wild
